At The Boma, guests can expect more than just a typical dining experience as they embark on a unique cultural encounter. This establishment offers a variety of delightful dishes, including an array of game meats and authentic Zimbabwean cuisine. However, what sets The Boma apart is the entertainment provided by traditional performers such as dancers, a Sangoma (storyteller), and a local fortune teller available for readings. The Boma is open every day of the year, serving dinner from 7:00 PM until late. The Boma is situated within a Gusu Forest, partially open to the stunning African night sky. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a traditional Shona and Ndebele greeting and invited to participate in a hand-washing ceremony. Traditional beer and snacks are served as an appetizer. After dinner, guests can enjoy the company of The Boma’s Sangoma who will share stories about the country’s folklore, culture, and heritage.
